Monday was a good old fun pday. We started off the week by making phone beds as a district. The picture will help it make sense...we also did facemasks. oh and then Elder Grover and I got to go to a Rangers game!!! They played the Bluejays and lost by 1 run but that's alright, it was fun regardless!
Tuesday we started the day by going to the office to take our truck in. We got a new car temporarily until we get a new truck hopefully next week. It was a crazy morning. Then had district council and a few lessons and that's about it!
Wednesday we had a whole ton of contacts, and we were out talking to people when we got the opportunity to help some people tear down an old fence and start building a new one! It was quite the experience! Then had a very good lesson with our new friend Donald! Also we found out Elder Grover is leaving us 😢
Thursday was just a bunch of getting ready for Elder Grover to leave on Saturday. And a whole tone of other contacts!! We also started a new exchange, I joined a set of Elders in their area.
Friday was a really sweet day. Learned a lot from Elder Rogers and Elder Jensen. Their area was out in the boonies which I love so much so it was good! At the end of the night we had a lesson with Ahmed... he is an older gentleman from Jordan who only knows Arabic so we taught him using Google translate. And luckily a member from Utah was able to call in. It was crazy because at the end he was telling us in his limited English that he knows Joseph Smith is a prophet, the spirit was so strong.
Saturday we said goodbye to Elder Grover and then we moved on with the day :( went out with a member who was in home MTC and it was so cool!!! Overall great day!
Sunday was crazy as usual. Our friend Donald came to church!!! We had a lesson with him later that day and we invited him to be baptized and he accepted! What was really cool is that it was the member who invited him. THE SPIRIT WAS SO STRONG!!
