Elder Bryce Thompson: 5/26/2025 Week 73- Mormon vs Buddist Temple

Monday was a crazy busy day. We had district council and then went out with one of the youth preparing for a mission. Lets just say it was amazing and we had so many lessons with him! We then ended the night with a couple other lessons!

Tuesday we got to go to the Temple and it was really cool because the Haslams got to take us. They first came to the mission when I was in the FW YSA and I've gotten to know them since then! We then hung out as a district for a little while going to the thrift store and playing games at the church!

Wednesday was a normal day went and made a bunch of visits but nothing roo crazy. We then started an exchange that night. One of my previous companions Elder Larsen joined me here in my area!!

Thursday was a pretty sweet miracle filled day, we had a few lessons which were great! Made a bunch of visits and nothing came from them. But I learned a lot from being with Elder Larsen for the day!!

Friday had a bunch of planning and even more lessons. We definitely didn't plan a lot of things that happened. But that's how it works sometimes, a lesson falls through, well let's go and talk to people out and about. That night we got the opportunity to check out a Buddhist temple here. Never thought I'd find one in Texas, but it was a neat experience.

Saturday was a normal visit-filled day with a couple of lessons. I feel like we did something super fun but I don't remember...

Sunday was a little more calm than last week but still super hectic! In Elders quorum we talked a lot about the priesthood and responsibilities as a priesthood holder and it was just a really nice reflection!
