2/4/2025 Week 60- we broke into a members house AND stole a church couch

 This past week has been very interesting, I mean most weeks are but 🤷‍♂️

Monday we went to a few antique stores as a district which of course is always fun! Don't tell my dad but I got a couple more pairs of boots 🤫. We then played volleyball for a little while afterward!! That night we had a pretty awesome lesson with Dawn. We were over at her house helping her with her phone when her daughter stormed into the house pretty mad and her not us. Anyway things calmed down and we were able to teach the both of them a lesson! 

Tuesday one of my comps came down with a fever so we couldn't leave the apartment all day 🥲

Wednesday we went down to horseshoe bend and made a few contacts. To explain horseshoe... it's a really sketch part of our area that's out in the middle of nowhere. That night we got to play human battleship with the youth which was super fun!!

Thursday not much happened, we had good time making some visits and we found out that Elder Ferguson would be leaving us for the next 5 days :( one of the Elders in the Zone was going home so he went and joined him. Had another lesson with Dawn :)

Friday we had MLC so we didn't get much done. We did break into a member's house, jkjk. We needed to get a key to the baptism font and the member was out of town so he told us to go into his house and take it. And then we started an exchange with the Mineral Wells elders. 

Saturday I joined Elder Hokanson out in mineral wells, it is such a pretty area. So many rolling hills and trees. We talked to a decent amount of people and we got to help so people move. We met Jennifer and Charles who are are just absolutely so awesome!!

Sunday we had Stake confrence here in Weatherford and we had a member of the 70, Elder Hirst join us to reorganize the stake presidency. He is pretty funny, and even better he's from England. He definitely seemed lost in Texas 😂. That night we had the opportunity of "stealing" a "church" couch so that was fun. You'll see in a few weeks what we did with it.
