Hey yall!! This past week has been so much fun. We got to do a lot and had some really fun lessons.
Monday for Pday went played pickle ball with the district. This isn't the only time we play this week, anyway that's about all we did then. We had a really amazing lesson with our new friend Dawn! She is 79 but is so interested in learning more!!
Tuesday we had district council and we had the opportunity to have a lesson with our Friend named Star who is absolutely just so cool!! We then had a super great lesson with Dawn again and I love her so much already! She is so prepared for real.
Wednesday we had zone conference which took up the whole day buttttt, it was just so good. We talked about 1 Nephi 3 & 4 and how Nephi had transformed over that time! Also talked about becoming Master planners! Oh yeah then we had young men's where I absolutely destroyed some kids in my boots playing chair soccer. Ok maybe not destroy but 🤷♂️
Thursday we had a few lessons with our friends and some contacts. Anddd a super awesome lesson again with Dawn. For some context, we gave her 2 Nephi 31 2 days ago and when we asked her how she liked it she told us she was already in 4th Nephi?!?!?!?! SHE IS SO AMAZING!!
Friday we did an exchange with Elder Hill, he came here with Elder Ferguson and I! We did a lottt of contacting that day had no lessons but we were able to find 3 new people to teach!
Saturday was a really different day. We started it off by going to a Men's retreat the Stake was putting on. That's where the bare footed pickleball comes in. Elder Straw and I were both wearing boots so we went barefoot to play. My feet got torn up and well I would send pics but that'd be weird. We didn't win a single game but I had a super duper SPECTACULAR dive to save a point but that's about it. We also helped a member move, had a lesson with our friend Jody and ANOTHER lesson with Dawn 🩷
Sunday was a joyous day! Our friends Zach and Blaze came to church. We taught them lesson and them we visited Dawn that night.
