Elder Bryce Thompson: 12/30/2024 Week 51- The fire department got called...

Ok so yall remember that chair I fixed last week? Well...My faulty wiring led to the fire department showing up. Ok I'm just kidding about the faulty wiring. The fire department did get called, except it was because of our friend's dog who got stuck in the chair and they had to dismantle the chair to rescue the dog. 🫣

Ok anyway this week was fantastic!!! Christmas week is the best week of the year!

Monday we had district council, but before that, the church building got new chairs so we had the fun job of unboxing them and then throwing away all the trash. (See Google Photos for videos 😉)

Tuesday started the process of making gifts to hand out to some of our friends for Christmas. (See attached pictures) then we had a fun time that night with one of our members!!

Christmas was so nice, we basically just did nothing. And then we had dinner at the Bishop's house!!

Thursday we had our mission Christmas party, there was a talent show and course because I don't have any talents I didn't perform. But hey there were some cool acts!

Friday got to help a member out with a job he had. We had to caulk a bunch of trim which just meant I got to get up on a ladder and use an impact driver 😍. That was really fun!! And we had a couple more lessons that night!!

Saturday we got to help out the same member caulking more seams and this time I got to break Osha standards using a ladder without someone holding it 🫡. Throws me back to high school when I'd stand on top of a 20 ladder without anyone at the bottom. But anyway that's about all we did, made a bunch of visits to give put Christmas gifts.

Sunday was amazing like always! Found out my companions leaving on Tuesday and I'll find out who's my next victim on Tuesday 😝. Just kidding!
