Elder Bryce Thompson: 12/26/2024 Week 50- I'm a Master Electrician

This past week has been super exciting!!

Monday was the only real exception. We didn't do much for pday because no one in our district wanted to do anything 😭. It's fine I just played basketball at the church by myself. Monday then turned around because my Cousin/Best friend got his mission call!!! I got to watch and he's going to the Hamberg Germany mission!!!!!!! LETS FREAKING GO so proud of you Tyson! Love you 3000 💙

Tuesday though was super fun!! Had District Council and I got to do the training which was super fun! I also made deep fried oreos. We had a lesson with our friends Phillip and Phyllis!!

Wednesday Elder and Sister Robins put on a temple worker appreciation lunch so we go to help set-up and serve the workers! I also met a really awesome guy named Will! They catered olive garden which was super good :) we played pickleball that night for young men's as well!!

Thursday had a bunch of lessons and that was super fun!! Not much really happened other than a new move-in to the ward. It's crazy how big our ward is and it keeps growing every week!!

Friday we had I think 7 lessons scheduled and only ended up teaching 2 :( that's alright though because at least we're teaching some people!! We also had interviews with President John!!!!

Ok ok ok so Saturday we got to help one of our friends out. At first she had us over so I could fix her recliners. I did that in about 10 minutes (crazy update on my next email) Let's just say working on my uncle's boat a couple summers ago gave me the experience needed! Electrical wiring is nothing to me now 🙃. Anyway she told us that her surround sound hadn't work for a few years so me being me I told her I'd fix it. And what do you know, another problem I could fix because of my uncle. All I need now is someone who needs a truck bed tool box built, it will only take 3 months (if you know you know) Love you Cliff!!!

Sunday was the best! It was the Christmas program. Filled with so much singing!! It was only an hour so we stayed for the Spanish Branches program. Honestly it was pretty cool even though I only understood every other 10 words 😅. That night we had dinner with 4-5 families from the ward. Got to decorate a gingerbread house, ✨️I'm of the opinion mine was the best ✨️.

Let us all remember who Jesus Christ is. He is our Friend, Brother, Leader, Light, Guide, Counselor, Savior, Redeemer. I promise as we focus more on him this Christmas and every day we will find the greater joy in our daily lives.
