Elder Bryce Thompson: 12/16/2024 Week 49- I try to pet a dinosaur

Okokok this week so was so awesome and filled with so many events, also you're gonna get a bunch of pictures from the last few weeks 😀

Monday we had district council and got to go out and talk to so many people. I think I talked to almost everyone I saw and gosh that was hard but it was so worth it. It's so awesome the people you run into!! That night was super fun... one of our friend's tires blew out so she needed us to help put the spare on and well let's just say that was an adventure!! Tuesday was pday and we got to go to the temple!!! Our Zls took most the elders in the Zone using the mission van and idk how they could trust 12 Elders alone in Dallas. Hey but of course we didn't do anything we weren't supposed to!! We then went to a members house to play more MTG.

Wednesday we just had a bunch of visits, nothing too crazy. Had a lesson too and 2 canceled. But that's alright. We did have a lot of fun in the backcountry!! Got to do some "off-roading". We also got to meet some real-life dinosaurs!!! I tried to pet them but they didn't like me.

Thursday we had a couple really fun lessons!! We also shared a lesson with a family in the ward about being obedient and using paper airplanes to illustrate it!!

Friday I went on Exchange with Elder Gibbons and it was a great time! So many cool miracles. Visited a part member family and the dad told us that he wants to know the steps for his daughter to be baptized so we set up a time to meet with them and help her come unto the waters of baptism!! That night we had a great lesson with our friend Veronica and well we invited her to be baptized and she might get baptized on the 21st but could be pushed later! And then as we were driving through our apartment complex at night I saw someone so I rolled down my window and invited him to church, he was so down so we set up for a lesson the next day!!

Saturday we got to help with building cleanup and then helped again with the Ward Christmas party we were having!! I got to cook a lot of pancakes :))) our friends Phillip and Phyllis came so that was awesome!!

Sunday was a pretty epic day, had church and Mac and Cheese for lunch at a members house 😎. Had a cool lesson with our friend Veronica and an awesome lesson with the Allred family. Overall great Sunday!
