Elder Bryce Thompson: 9/22/2025 Week 90- Miracles upon Miracles

tarted off this week it an incredible way! Monday was our P-day and we were at the library. As we were walking out a couple asked us if we were Mormon and we'll we explained and turns out one of them is a member! They asked for a priesthood blessing so we gave them each one! It was such a powerful experience!! Other than that it was a pretty boring day, running out of things to do here 😭. Anyway had a lesson that night with our friend Donte who we passed off to the sisters!

Tuesday we had a little different of a District Council. 2 of our elders got sick so we combined with another district and it was pretty awesome!! Made some contacts and then we went to the church that evening and we ran into a Chinese couple who lives with on of our members. Daniel and Lily are their names. They are just learning English and want to learn about God!

Wednesday we had Zone conference which was super good. We talked about the gift of the Holy Ghost and listening to spiritual promptings. Particularly acting on a prompting the first time. We had an incredible experience with that later that evening! We were in the area of where our friend Douglass used to live and we'll I felt like we should go and visit his Mom. We both knew Douglass was in Texarkana so we thought it wouldn't hurt to try. AND GUESS WHAT?? Douglass was the one who answered the door!!!!!! He was only there for the night. But it truly was God directing us to meet him!

Thursday helped a family clean up their house for a bit. Had a some lesson fall through but ended the night with a lesson with Daniel and Lily!! It was one of the coolest experiences. We got to teach them who God is and how to pray! I've never taught anyone on my mission who didn't believe in God already. It was super awesome! They are so eager to connect with him!!

Friday we had the privilege of going to the temple to do baptisms!! We went because my friend Donald who got baptized a couple months ago went for the first time! It was surreal, he baptized me and I got to baptize him!!! For in and behalf of those who've passed on. It was so cool. Had another lesson with Daniel and Lily too!

Saturday was a pretty good day as well. Had some lessons and it was overall a great day!

Sunday was the best!! Daniel and Lily came to church and our friends Angel, Walter, and Fun! It was very hectic but I knew and could feel the spirit strongly. Angel and Walter are now preparing for baptism!!! Ended the night with a lesson with Daniel, Lily, and Fun. Lily really loved how she felt at church. We'll tell her tomorrow how she can receive more peace through baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost!!
