Howdy y'all 🤠 it's been a greattttt week!
Monday as a district we went fishing at a members private pond! The fish weren't biting... Besides the bluegill, I caught probably about 15 of them 🤣. Elder Aaron caught a catfish and a bass!! We then went to In n out of course and that was about all the day! We ended the night with some contacts and we got back in touch with Steven and super incredible guy who we met 5 weeks earlier who just had twins!
Tuesday we had a lesson with Steven and it was Soo good. The spirit was super strong and yeah he told us he and his wife want to get baptized... Oh and his kids too 😁. Had a lesson that night with Michael, crazy story. His house caught on fire after we left last time. He's all good and his house wasn't too bad afterwards.
Wednesday we had district council. To build comp unity and trust we played pin the tie of President Nelson because it was his B'day! We made sure it didn't turn into a casual mess. Did some painting to help out an older lady.
Thursday I went to the District Leader training which was super good. Then after dinner we ran into a really nice lady named Tia and well she was looking for a church to go to! Then we had a pass off lesson with Michael and some sisters because he moved to his mom's house.
Friday started out the best way possible. Woke up early to drive to Fort Worth to get another one of my wisdom teeth removed!! Brother Cook from one of my last wards was able to do it! Even better his son Jared who's like the coolest youth ever was able to help out too!!! Oh and we stopped by the Fort Worth Temple on the way back, of course! Then we had a miracle filled day, had the privilege of finding 4 people who said they would come to church!!
Saturday had a chapel tour with Steven which went great! He was so excited to come to church!! Made some contacts, then had a lesson with Tia. It was super good and she is coming to church 😃.
Sunday was a GREAT DAY! Steven came to church!!! And now him and his wife are preparing for Baptism! Hes going to be bringing his wife and 7 kids next week 😳 And Tia also came... And guess what, she brought her 4 kids too!! Then we went that evening to Tia's home and well now she and she Daughter are getting baptized! What she said I will never forget "thank you for letting me join your church" it was such a tender moment 😊
