Elder Bryce Thompson: 8/11/2025 Week 84- miracles and leatherwork

This has been such an awesome week, we experienced so many miracles!!

Monday we went to In n Out as a district, and then went to an antique store and went thrifting! There are so many thrift stores in Arlington which is crazy!! We ended the night off with our friend Douglass which was super good, then we had a lesson with a guy named Husam who's from the middle east which was pretty interesting.

Tuesday we had District Council, we read Mosiah 18 and talked a lot about baptism!! And than after that we had some visits and then ended the night by have a couple lessons. One with Douglas and with Husam!

Wednesday we had Zone conference which was really long but good. The whole focus was on helping our friends come to church and partake of the Sacrament! I learned a lot and am excited to apply it. Had a lesson with Jesse and then helped the primary kids with a leather working activity!! I'll have to get into Leatherwork when I go back.

Thursday we met with a guy named Kane who's homeless and lives under a bridge but he's so awesome and humble. Super sketch but he wants to come to church so 🤷🏼‍♂️. We also had a miracle...we got a referral, we get a lot. The referal had a building # but no apt # so we knocked the whole building and on the last door we met a super nice guy named Steve who has 5 kids and he wants to come to church!!! Had a another lesson with Douglass... man I love Douglass!

Friday started the day with yet another lesson with Douglass and his mom! Went and had a couple lessons with our friends Marilyn, and Steve from yesterday. Ended the night with some yard work for an older lady!!

Saturday was miracle filled... got another referal for a Jamcian and we didn't have a room # so we asked for it and the desk lady gave us... then we stopped by and we met Dornell and L1 who are both super awesome!! That night we had a lesson with our new member Rita and well, her Grandson Ron joined and he wants to get baptized so all he needs is to come to church!

Sunday was the best day of the week! We partook of the sacrament and 3 of purpose friends made it to church! And then another guy named Brian showed up and now wants to meet with us! Also Ron is now on date for baptism so super miracle!!! Had weekly planning and a lesson with Ron and Rita!
