Elder Bryce Thompson: 12/1/2025 Week 100- The End is NOW

Howdy all y'all! This is the final email I will write since I go home in 3 days anddd I get to hug my mom 😁.

Monday Elder Duckett and I went to the metal of honor museum for a couple of hours which was super cool! Afterwards we played Catan and pickleball as a district!! Oh and miracle evening too. We called 3 referrals back to back to back and they all wanted to meet again. And as soon as we got out of the car we met a new friend Travis!!

Tuesday was my last district council which was pretty sad. We studied in 2 Nephi 31 of course. And I made a cake to eat. It doesn't look the best but you get the idea! Had a pie night with the ward which was super fun!

Wednesday I had my departing interview and well Pres was 1.5 behind so we just ended up playing some ping pong and skeeball while waiting! Afterwards we went and did a district service project for a family in our ward!! We then had 3 great lessons! Oh and I had Dinner with Stephen 😏.

Thanksgiving was great! Watched Ben-Hur as a zone which was really good. Then we went and helped a member put together some cabinets!! For dinner we went to the Whites and it was a party!! They've got a baby named Angus who is so tender!

Friday and Saturday were your normal missionary day with a bunch of visits! Saturday night though. A member went and took us to go see a bunch of Christmas lights which was fun!!

Sunday, Chris blessed the sacrament for the first time! And I also have a talk in sacrament meeting!! I spoke on the Doctrine of Christ because its the coolest thing... Anyway great Sunday.

This last week I challenged myself to read the Book of Mormon in 7 days. About 75 pages a day which is a lot, but I did it! I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and it WILL bring you closer to Jesus than by any other book just as Joseph Smith said. It has connected me to Christ more than I have been because I've read it everyday. It has protected me from giving into Satan's temptations and lies. I know it can bless y'alls lives to! Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life. He is my Savior and Redeemer.
