It is with great pleasure that we inform you of the appointment of your son, Elder Thompson, to serve as a Zone Leader of the Weatherford Zone. Elder Thompson, has exhibited a profound standard of excellence in his devoted service as well as a deep sense of caring for others.
As a Zone Leader, Elder Thompson will be responsible for the supervision of the districts within the zone to ensure the effective finding and teaching of many of our Father in Heaven's children. The Zone Leader inspires, trains, counsels, and assists the District Leaders in their responsibilities of caring for the missionaries. He will be expected to maintain an exemplary standard of excellence within his own proselyting area. His demonstration of effective leadership will assist in working with local priesthood leaders.
