This past week was super awesome!! Got to say goodbye to Elder Cain and Hello to Elder Larsen!! He's super cool!
On Monday before transfers we went over to a members house and he let us each build a magic deck so that was super fun! Now I have 6 magic decks, only 1 really good, it is fun to play with the rest though!!
Tuesday had a lot of fun getting everything set up with a new companion, we also had a lesson with Phillip whose baptism is on the 11th!! Super excited about that!
Wednesday we got to go over to help Denise out and put together the recliner the firefighters took apart last week to save her dog. We also had district council and let's just say it didn't go too well. It was supposed to be at 12:30 but a couple elders in our district were an hour late 😵💫. Other than that it was a great time. It was cool to lead it for the first time, definitely made me realize again my love for teaching even though I'm such an introvert. Then we had dinner with our ward mission leader which was great!
Thursday was a chaotic day, had breakfast with a member and then went down to help another member paint a building. Just meant I got to climb more ladders :) I also got to sad some more wood, I definitely don't miss that part of woodworking! We then had 3 lessons afterwards!!
Friday got to do a mini-exchange so I could make it to a meeting. Went with Elder Straw, a Marshallese Elder. He's awesome!! Then the rest of the day we made a bunch of contacts and found a really awesome family! Oh and that night I got to paint my new toy :)
Saturday got to help our friend Denise again with more house problems! And a really sweet lesson with her afterward!! We had 7 lessons planned that day and surprisingly only 3 fell through!!
Sunday was amazing as always! Got to go to the YSA sacrament meeting because one of our friends was gonna go but he didn't show up :( anyway after that got to go to our ward which was jam-packed. Anddd the ward still grows every week.
