7/23/24 Week 28- Whats the big news!?!?!

IM TRAINING!!! Im absolutely so excited for these next 2 transfers! What's funny is usually you find out a week before the transfer but something got messed up so I was the only one of the trainers that didn't hear about it. President John called me 2 days before transfers and told me I'm training 🫠. Anyway super excited!!

OK BUT ALSO, IM STILL IN THE FORT WORTH 5TH WARD BUT NOW WE'RE ALSO WHITEWASHING INTO THE FORT WORTH YSA!!!!!!!! Back to a YSA baby😝

Enough of that. My new companion is Elder Baker! And let's just say he flipping fantastic. He's so awesome and willing to do anything to serve the Lord. We're gonna have a lot of fun doing missionary work this transfer!

Monday was our last day of the transfer so we decided to go to the zoo! It'll was so awesome!! We also went to the house of blades. It's a really sick knife store!!

Tuesday was transfers, I was put temporarily with Elder Baldarree for the day. What's really cool is he's from El Dorado hills and was also trained in the Denton YSA! We have a lot more in common too. Hopefully we are companions fro real sometime!! Ok AND I also got to put together a dresser!!!

Wednesday I picked up Elder Baker. We essentially had to go straight to DC afterwards but we went to Inn n Out for lunch beforehand. Like of course we had to. The rest of the night was just meeting members, we did spend sometime coordinating our YSA effort with the sisters... we're gonna have a lot of fun!!

Thursday was more of meeting everyone. We had a great lesson with Marren. He's doing sooo good! We also had the opportunity to go and visit  a member who was in the hospital she's doing good now. We also had institute that night!! I missed going to institute.

Friday we had the chance to Mow Stephan's lawn again and went and visited more friends. I also took sometime to make fliers for ysa activities!! I think I did pretty good.

Saturday we got to help with a church renovation project! It wasn't one of our churches but a local one that had an electrical fire. I got to help tear down drywall and hopefully next time we go I can help put drywall up. It was a lotttt of fun. After that we were able to take our friend Marren to a baptism, and he loved it!!

Sunday was so long... had 5th Ward's service from 9-11 then went straight to the ysa's. The ysa did a combined English and Spanish sacrament Meeting which was so awesome!! Talks in both languages and we sang in English and Spanish! Afterwards we had a linger-longer!!!

Monday we had zone conference! It was different this time, it was only one zone. It was so cool!! I learned so much! It went 7 hours... 2 hours over. That doesn't matter because of how spirit-filled the whole meeting was! That evening we played soccer for the YSAs FHE! I sucked the whole time, but I still scored the game-winning goal. Just ignore the fact that it started raining so everyone started giving up...
