Elder Bryce Thompson: 7-15-24 Week 27- Boots and cookie dough Galore!!!

Monday we went to the stockyards which was a ton of fun!! So much cool stuff and I mean the cattle walk was alright too. We also went thrifting for a bit, and I found more suspenders 😎

Tuesday was nothing special just DC and a bunch of visits, we were able to help move a couch which was sweet!

Wednesday we were able to have a lesson with Marren and talk more about the priesthood! We also got to go to young men's and play a game, a mix between chair soccer and Dodgeball. It was a lot of fun.

Thursday morning we did a "faith walk" basically just walking around a neighborhood and we ran into a really cool lady who was running a garage sale. We taught for a while about what we believe and well she ended up giving us each a free pair of boots! It was also free 7-Eleven slurpee day, we snagged a couple! Later in the day we had a lesson with Richard and read the Book of Mormon with him.

Friday was a kinda eh day but found my wallet that I thought I lost. And we went back to that garage sale from Thursday and the lady ended up selling me 4 pairs of boots for $40??? And these are really nice boots! Man I Love Texas!

Saturday... dang this was such a fantastic day! So My companion is getting transferred out so we decided to make a bunch of cookies and to deliver them to a lot of the ward members as well as some of our investigators. Let's just say we ended up making around 40 lbs of cookie dough!! Oh and to top off the night, Stephan took us to get sushi.

Sunday is when we found out Elder Messerly is leaving and I am not. I also found out something super exciting that you'll have to wait for my next email to hear!! Anyway we spent the majority of the day delivering cookies and saying goodbye to everyone!
