These weeks are flying by so fast now 😔
Monday was a normal work day, started off helping move a washer and dryer 💪 and got a $13 McDonald's meal... Spent way to much. Anyway we had DC afterwards which was super good, had a lesson with Douglass and then spent the evening being master exterminators. Our apartment has roaches so we cleaned everything and then sprayed a lottt.
Tuesday we got to go to the Temple and do an endowment session! Got to clean more and then Helped Elder Miles pick out a pair of boots! That evening we made the programs for Douglass' baptism.
Wednesday we did a lot of walking around apartments to not much avail but that's alright. Had two lessons which were super good.
Thursday was more visits and we found a couple new friends!
Friday was going all great...until... Our beloved friend Douglass called us and told us he just emergency moved to Texarkana 😭😭😭. That stung a lot. We've basically taught him every other day for the last 4 weeks. He said he might be coming back in a few weeks but who knows. Anyway that was super depressing.
Saturday I was feeling it mental health wise. We had a great lesson with a new friend Michael and he told us he wants to be baptized!!! Miracles happen for real! Then I made a cake for our ward picnic and that helped a lot. Had the picnic which was good.
Sunday helped sooo much! I got to go to two different sacrament meetings and our friend Michael came and now he's preparing to be baptized on September 14th!! We also got to bring the sacrament to a lady in the ward who was recovering from a surgery. Now we're teaching her husband!
