Ok y'all super exciting week filled with so much opposition and opportunity!
Monday was a normal pros day with District council which was super good! We then had a bunch of contacts and then that night we had a General Conference watch party with a really awesome family in the ward!! We did it in our apartment game room and had some snacks too!
Tuesday we went to the temple in the morning which was super good. Its always a good time. Afterwards we didn't do much, we played all 18 holes at a disc golf course. I averaged about 2 over everytime. Ok but to be fair they were all Par 3 but probably shouldn't have been. Ended the night with a lesson with Daniel and Lily!!
Wednesday was also a great day filled with contacts. We then got to go bless our friend Michael's house. He's moved outside our area but we got to help anyway! Then we headed to the church for Chris's baptismal interview. And we'll after 1.5 hours he passed the interview and is getting baptized on Sunday!!
Thursday was more contacts and some lessons that fell through. I did a flip on a trampoline and ripped it 😬. And then had a GREAT lesson with Lily and Daniel!!
Friday was more of the same, nothing too special. Oh wait nevermind. We witnessed an armed carjacking. And let's just say I'm surprised my companion didn't get shot. God 100% protected us.
Saturday we did a mini exchange so I could interview someone for baptism. It was definitely a super awesome experience! Made some new friends and that's about it.
Sunday was so great. It's been a few weeks since I've partaken of the sacrament due to stake and General conference. It helped me sooo much. Then had a normal day until Chris's baptism! The spirit was super strong!! Anddd I got baptize him, I only mention that because I got to wear the same white pants Grandpa Thompson bought on his mission. They've been passed down from him to his sons and now grandsons! It was such a great experience!!
